WASHINGTON, D.C. – BuildStrong America is proud to announce Aaron Davis as its new Deputy Executive Director. With over two decades of public policy experience across the legislative and executive branches, he brings a wealth of expertise to the organization. Davis joins BuildStrong America from the International Code Council (ICC), where he played a key role in advancing building safety and resilience as Vice President of Federal Relations. His leadership will be instrumental in furthering BuildStrong America’s mission to strengthen our nation’s built environment.
Prior to his time at ICC, Davis held key positions in Congress and with previous Administrations, including as Staff Director for the U.S. House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure’s Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management, and as Director of Congressional Affairs at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
